Denise is passionate about solving business problems for leaders so they can get back to focusing on their customers and achieving their business goals.  She has spent more than 20 years designing reward programs and using compelling communications to inspire employees to deliver the right results.  

She has worked at Newmont Mining Corporation, CenturyLink, First Data Corporation, and Washington Mutual Bank (now JPMorgan Chase). Her experience includes base pay, bonus, short-term incentives, long-term incentives (stock and cash-based). She has advised senior leaders on executive, expatriate, sales, and global compensation issues.  She managed health plans and wellness vendors and has negotiated contracts, service level agreements, and fees. She has developed and implemented wellness program initiatives.

She is also passionate about coaching career-driven leaders to ensure they know their worth and are paid for it. Denise holds a B.S. degree and M.B.A. from Kansas State University. She is also a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), and Work-Life Certified Professional (WLCP). She is a long time member of WorldatWork and Rocky Mountain Total Rewards Association (RMTRA). She was the President of the RMTRA and held other Board positions.

What does she do in her spare time? You will find Denise reading, playing in the mountains, hiking, acting as chauffer for her kids, and attending fitness classes. She is also a Certified State of Slim Coach and enjoys leading committed individuals on their transformation and weight loss journey.
