I like taking notes with a pen on paper. It’s old fashioned but I tend to remember what the conversation was about better if I handwrite and doodle on the page vs. typing in a Word document.

When I was in high school and college, my notebooks were filled with my notes along with diagrams and random doodles. I would take great pleasure in filling the white spaces around the words with dots, triangles, lines, and squares.

And I would remember the words I wrote and where on the page they were written so it helped me recall information during a test.

I handwrite notes during meetings now to ensure that I capture the action items and context.

And I found zentangle. If you know, you know. It helps me meet my need for fun and creativity.
