Each morning I start my day by writing three things I am grateful for. Today I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I wrote three things and then I wrote more.
I suddenly stopped and realized that I am living the life I dreamed of years ago. I am happy. My working is meaningful. I have great relationships. I have a lot to look forward to.
And six years ago I was miserable. Didn't want to wake up and start my day. I just put one foot in front of the other and was surviving from moment to moment.
What changed? I wrote down what I wanted my day to be like. I decided I needed a new vision to inspire me to change things. I needed to be intentional in the choices I made.
I started asking myself, "Is what I am choosing right now getting me closer to my ideal day?" Yes or no. That's it.
Some of the choices I made were scary. I was afraid of the consequences of my decisions. Like choosing to not work so many hours so I could get the sleep I needed. Or choosing to start a business instead of being an employee at a large company.
If you are miserable and want to use the Ideal Day Activity I used to change things, send me a message. I'll share it with you.
It is never too late to make a change. And doing what scares you can lead to an amazing life.
