I’ve been thinking about how people say one thing and do another.
Words are easy to say. Following those words up with aligned actions is another.
It applies to the workplace. If your manager says one thing and does another, trust is broken.
It applies to executives. Elon Musk has been sued by shareholders of Twitter. Talk about a back and forth chaotic deal.
We have mass shootings in schools, grocery stores and churches. I live 15 minutes from Columbine High School. One of my kids will go there in a year.
Thoughts and prayers haven’t worked.
Entertainers are pulling out of their performances scheduled at the NRA conference. Actions matter.
So, we each have a choice. Do your actions match your words?

And love is an action not just a word. Decide how to love yourself and others in each moment. See the human in each person around you and pause. Dig deep if you have to and be compassionate. We need each other.
