I like having goals. And every so often I check in with myself to reflect on how I am spending my time and energy in relation to my goals.

The chasing of the goal or the journey that requires focusing on one step at a time, THAT is where I like to dwell.

The outcome of work effort is just a tiny aspect of the total experience.

If you can fall in love or at least enjoy the process of the work journey, then that is success.

I like words and numbers. I like telling stories based on numbers. I think that is one reason why I am good at my job as a Compensation Consultant.

I also like people and am always searching for ways to better understand what motivates each of us to act the way we do.

Money isn’t the best motivator. But getting our needs met as human beings, THAT is a great motivator.
