What’s job evaluation? Job evaluation is a systematic process of assessing the value of jobs to determine the compensation to be paid to employees performing those jobs.
This means that we are reading employer job descriptions and comparing those to the descriptions in salary surveys to find a match. Once we find a match or more than one match, we can determine what is a competitive base salary range and incentive targets.
